Asbestos Removal
i was on a job where my customer had employed an asbestos removal guy to remove the garage roofing, i asked hime about the dangers and he said the white stuff had the wrong shaped fibers to get lodged in the lungs, he did not even bother with a mask as it was the white stuff.

they cant tell from the x-rays or the scans , but I am sure it happened when I worked in the shipyards, we used to pipe the engine room and boiler room, and when the laggers moved in it used to come down like snow
everyone except the worker knew it would kill you but it was kept secret under the official secrets act for commercial reasons, they knew it would kill you from the late 1800s

I dont know if they have changed it, but brake dust was a killer, and people used to clean it out of the drums with compressed air so it went into the atmosphere in just the right sized that were easy to breath in

And every time a car braked or changed gear they pumped Asbestos into the atmosphere until they removed the stuff from pads and clutch drive plates.
