GL's process and ethanol biodiesel?
Hello,
this is my obligatory first post to keep from getting my ID deleted.
Also, has anyone worked with ethyl esters here, and have you tried it with Graham's one-day process?

Hi GM
In addition to any replies you may get here, try PMing bob_isat on infopop, who is an ethyl ester fan in France.
He frequents oliomobile.org too, where a lot of ethyl ester discussion takes place. In French.
See also http://www.oliomobile.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8872&postdays=0&postorder=asc...
I'm sure you'll find someone there who can help.
Hope that helps.

very, very good to hear.
Yep, I"m one of the moderators at infopop, but I'm not here to infiltrate. Unless that's an over-the-pond way of saying 'to filter' or something else
related to oils.

I met a guy called Greg in NZ who was producing biodiesel with ethanol and no catalyst! The pressure was rather large though, something like 200 bar.
Forum owner. R reg merc sprinter van, indirect injection, bosch inline IP, mechanical lift pump, 2 tanks, 2 switch over valves, pre-filter in veg oil
line, 10% petrol in Winter. Plate heat exchanger. Runs perfect. 50,000 miles so far. In vehicle wood powered interior heating system. Solar/veg oil
powered computer.

Thanks, Chug, it's all going great actually. I'm across two or three ponds, though- I'm in Fiji at the moment. Summertime in December is a pretty nice
thing! I've recently moved to Piedmont Biofuels in North Carolina, so I"m surrounded 24/7 by the all-biodiesel, all-the-time, all-stars of the USA.
We've got a whole house full of biodiesel enthusiasts. I LOVE it.

I bet you are pi**ing yourself about the price we pay at the pumps here. Thanks to our Treasury it is now around $10 a gallon, but then the $ is
pretty low @ the moment.

I've known about your prices for a while, in our country, it's headed in that direction (over $4 a gallon now) but that's mostly profit, not taxes, as
I think is the case in your country.
Interestingly it really is making a difference in what our local idiots drive- there are a lot fewer SUV's now than four years ago. Good riddance.
Unfortunately they're not getting off the road, they're just not as much of a status symbol as they used to be and so a different group of people are
buying the old ones and continuing to drive the things.
