Health and safety:
.Biodiesel production is a potentially dangerous process and should only be undertaken by competent people. It is not suitable for unsupervised children etc.
.Methanol has explosive vapors and is deadly poisonous. It burns with an invisible flame.
.Sodium hydroxide/potassium hydroxide/caustic/lye will burn skin. Do not breathe in the dust. Animals will try to eat it as it smells of salt.
.Concentrated sulphuric acid will burn skin and explode if water is added to it.
.All these chemicals should be stored properly and kept away from children.
.Most common serious accident: Processor blows up due to immersion heater being accidently switched on when empty.
